Washington D.C. Ferguson protests
Protests sparked nationwide after grand jury ruled not to indict white police officer Darren Wilson after fatally shooting unarmed black teenager, Michael Brown. This series of images came out of the Nation's Capital the day after the ruling. A rally of more than 2000 people shut down the streets of Northwest Washington to protest racial profiling from law enforcement.

The Israelite School of Practical and Universal Knowledge (commonly known as ISUPK) is a religious group grounded in the belief that African Americans, along with Hispanics and Native Americans, are true descendants of ancient Israelites. Practitioners frequently hold speaking sessions, preaching the hatred and wrath of God to bystanders. The Southern Poverty Law Center has categorized ISUPK as a “black supremacy group.”
